The short version
The watch app collects nothing. The website counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across sites. If you contact Preracer, your message and email address are received so you can get a reply. That's it.
The Garmin app
Preracer runs entirely on your watch. It does not read your location, heart rate, activity history, Garmin profile or any sensor data. It does not send anything anywhere — the app has no network access. Your scores and progress are stored on the watch and disappear if you uninstall it.
This website
This site uses Umami Cloud for privacy-focused analytics. The account is configured for Umami's European Union data region. It records page views, referring source, country, browser and device type, and two events: clicks through to the Connect IQ Store, and submissions of the organiser form. Analytics does not receive names, email addresses or form content, and does not use cookies or store raw IP addresses. These measurements are used only to understand aggregate use of the site.
Email and the organiser form
If you email support or submit the organiser form, Preracer receives what you sent — including your email address. It is used to answer you and, for the organiser form, to have a conversation about your race. It is not added to a mailing list, shared or sold. Messages are kept only as long as needed to answer and follow up, unless a legal obligation requires longer. Ask and your messages will be deleted where no legal reason requires keeping them.
What this site never does
No advertising, no advertising profiles, no data sold or shared with third parties, no cross-site tracking, no cookies requiring consent.
Contact and rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what Preracer holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email support@preracer.com.
Controller: Preracer, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 54849357, reachable at support@preracer.com.
Changes
If this changes — and it will, when race codes and leaderboards arrive — it will be explained here before the feature ships, not after.
