For race organisers
Your race is more than a route to the finish. What makes it distinctive lives in the climbs, aid stations, crowds, history, local stories and landmarks. Preracer turns those details into a tactical game participants can experience before race day.
Participants move through your real course one situation at a time. They encounter its terrain, landmarks, crowds, local stories and unexpected moments, make choices about what they are willing to spend, and manage sugar, water, legs and morale all the way to the finish.
For runners, it is a fun way to get to know the race. For organisers, it creates a new digital engagement moment before race day. Race partners can appear naturally inside selected situations and stories, without buying an advantage or changing the balance. The experience is built around choices and consequences rather than route simulation or training data.
A sponsor partner can appear where they naturally fit: a visit to a local running shoe shop during training, a nutrition partner at an aid station or their tent near the finish. Because the moment is part of the situation and story, participants encounter the partner as race content rather than an interruption.
A sponsored moment never buys an advantage and never changes the game in the sponsor's favour. Choices and consequences remain balanced for the player — no pay-to-win and no forced message.
For organisers, this creates a new partner opportunity inside the pre-race experience without turning the game into advertising.
01
A short form, then a call. No GPX file needed.
02
What the course feels like at kilometre 8 and kilometre 30. Where it hurts. What the crowd does. What goes wrong.
03
We translate your route, local stories and signature details into situations, choices and mechanics, then calibrate the result. This usually takes around two weeks.
04
One round, then it goes live.
During the pilot phase, every race is authored and calibrated hands-on. Each course is built from real route and race details, then simulated 8,000 times to check that the choices are genuinely difficult — that no single strategy wins, that every resource matters and that finishing feels earned.
Amsterdam and DXT35 passed that gate. Yours will too, or it doesn't ship.
Preracer is opening a small number of pilot places. Keeping the first group focused allows close collaboration and deliberate quality control while the format develops with its pilot partners.
Pilot partners get a course at pilot pricing and real influence over what gets built next. In exchange, we'd like to share the story of how it went.
